USB recovery only for blue'Log X-1000 / X-3000 / X-6000
A USB recovery is necessary if the blue'Log no longer works properly or starts. Should the blue'Log
do not work correctly even after a USB recovery, please contact technical support.
What you need:
- USB-Stick
- Windows PC to prepare the USB-Stick
- Read all information carefully
- Download the USB recovery package (s)
ATTENTION!
With installed software version <1.7.6
Perform the USB recovery in the following steps, first with V. 1.7.5 then with V. 1.7.6, and finally with V. 1.8.9
With installed software version >= 1.7.6
Perform the USB recovery with V 1.8.9
DURING USB RECOVERY, ALL DATA AND SETTINGS WILL BE DELETED!
Download the required USB recovery package (s):
blue'Log Recovery V 1.7.5 ca. 121 MB
blue'Log Recovery V 1.7.6 ca. 130 MB
blue'Log Recovery V 1.8.9 ca. 131 MB
USB recovery with the blue'Log:
- Please format your USB stick -> The USB stick requires the FAT32 file format
- Copy the * .img file and the * .md5 file to the root directory of your USB stick. No further * .img files may be present there.
- Insert the USB stick in the USB slot.
- Press and hold the [Up ↑] button on the control pad and restart the blue'Log (press the reset button or briefly disconnect and reconnect the voltage) until the LEDs next to the display light up from top to bottom.
- While the LEDs light up from top to bottom, release the [Up ↑] key and press and hold the [Down ↓] key on the control pad until the display backlight changes to red.
- Please wait until you are prompted to press [OK] on the display. To do this, press the [OK] key.
- Wait until the "red phase" has been processed and the blue'Log restarts. (Do not restart or switch off the device during this time!)
- Wait until the "green phase" has been processed and the blue'Log restarts. (Do not restart or switch off the device during this time!)
- Then check the firmware version
Your blue’Log is now recovered and can be reconfigured.
