blueLog - Network connection

If the data transfer to the VCOM portal fails or the device is displayed as offline in the VCOM, check the following points:

  1. The data logger is ready for operation when the top and middle LEDs light up. The bottom LED signals a disrupted internet connection in red.
  2. The data logger is connected to a router via an Ethernet cable
  3. The IP configuration is correct, this affects the following parameters:
  • IP address
  • Subnet mask
  • Gateway address
  • DNS server

The IP configuration can be checked as follows:

Via the display

Press ok to select a user and log in with a 4-digit number code.
After a successful login, the network configuration is displayed; this can be selected and changed with the left arrow button.

Via the browser

Enter the IP address of the data logger in the browser address line; this is shown on the start page of the display.
Alternatively, the host name of the device can be used, which consists of the last 8 digits of the serial number.

Example:
Serial number: 798 108 4418 0117
hostname: blue-x44180117
Enter address line: http://blue-x44180117/

Now log in with your access data consisting of user and password.
The network settings are in the System -> Ethernet menu
