The Energy Performance Index describes the relationship between the specific yield and the simulated yield. It can assume values below, but also above 100% - depending on how well the system behaves in comparison to the simulation. Our simulation calculates a simulation value for each day from irradiation data (at module level), temperatures and the technical properties of the components, such as inverter characteristic or module efficiency.
