bluelog - Ramp Rate Limiter

Description

In order to avoid rapid changes in the active power and reactive power output, the power generating system can follow after a receiving a new setpoint from grid operator / third party with the option "ramp rate limiter" a defined gradient for increasing or reducing the active power output.

Functions

The option ramp rate limiter is available for active and reactive power control.

The ramp rate limiter is applied to the grid operator / third party setpoint.

The following options are available

For active power

Ramp up The gradient configured for ramp up only applies to the new setpoint from grid operator / third party if it's increasing the active power output.
Ramp up / Ramp down Ramp-up / Ramp-down" allows you to define separate gradients ("Gradient (ramp-up)" and "Gradient (ramp-down)") for increasing and reducing the active power output.
Soft start

Soft start gradient will be used if the active power at the point of common coupling is ≤ 0 W. The gradient is valid until the new setpoint is reached.

For example: Active power is 0 W and setpoint is 0 % => Setpoint changes from 0 % to 100 % => Soft start is active until setpoint of 100 % is reached. ( e.g. for Ramp rate 1%/s = for 100 s gradient of "Soft start" is active)

For reactive power

Ramp rate The gradient configured for ramp rate applies to the new setpoint from grid operator.
